Little Red Book #2 by Ed Campbell and Ed Brown. This book is like new because it is. These books been stored in a box and some of them may have a few "storage marks" but they have never been used. Originally sold for $60 and is now out of print.

Booklet [11.25 x 9]; Like New-/paperback; white comb spine; vol. 1, pp 62 plus 2 pages of full size violin templates (fold out), ©1990; red covers; intact bindings; text blocks clean; illustrated. Considered rare as it was produced in house in very low quantities primarily for student of Ed's now defunkt apprentiship program. This book contains a great deal of information, tables, measurements, dimensions, building methods and principles and much more information pertaining to stringed instrument making. Some of it is highly scientific in nature. There are a lot of pictures (color and b&w) and diagrams. Some topics in this edition include varnishing and glazing, bassbar tuning, resonance control, bridge tuning, plate arching, full size templates, graduations and more.  The Chimneys Violin Maker's Workshop Book 2 (LRB-2) is a good reference book for both beginner and advanced makers.
